Dariusz Szewczyk was born on 2 May 1958. He graduated Technical University of Łódź and Technical University of Warsaw. He also studied at University of Łódź (Faculty of Management) and holds a Executive Master of Business Administration title from the University of Maryland.
Since the beginning of the 90 s’ he is involved in the issues of small and medium sized enterprises support, cooperation between business and science, and implementation of pre and post accession programmes financed from European Union funds.
In 2002 he was appointed Deputy President of Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. In PARP he is primarily responsible for the implementation of the Operational Programme Development of Eastern Poland, within which there are carried out both activities related to the development of the local infrastructure as well as strengthening the innovation capacity of enterprises and internationalization.
