Swiss Chamber Poland
The Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce was established in 1998 and has its registered office in Warsaw. The Chamber is a voluntary organization
established in accordance with the Polish law. It is not supported financially by any public institutions. The Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce cooperates with the majority of Swiss companies in Poland. It has about 180 members. The list of the members is available on the following website: www.swisschamber.pl in the part entitled “Członkowie” (Members).
Our mission is the development of a friendly trade environment for Polish-Swiss business links. Aims:
– Facilitating business activities of the Members of the Chamber
– Representing Swiss investors in Poland and Polish investors in Switzerland
– Promoting and facilitating Polish-Swiss trade relations
– Developing a positive attitude towards Swiss investments in Poland and Polish investments in Switzerland
Polish Agency for Enterprise Development
PARP is a government agency that has been providing support to entrepreneurs in the implementation of competitive and innovative projects for over 10 years. The primary objective of our activity is to develop the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises in Poland. To support entrepreneurs, PARP uses the funds from the State budget and European Funds. In the 2007-2013financial perspective, the Agency is responsible for the implementation of measures under three Operational Programmes: Innovative Economy, Human Capital and Development of Eastern Poland.
One of the key tasks of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development is to support export, including strengthening of the competitive position of Polish enterprises on foreign markets and making it easier for small and medium-sized enterprises to get in touch with foreign companies in their business. To that end, PARP offers Polish SMEs an opportunity to participate in economic missions organised around the world, cooperative exchanges and fair events. Furthermore, Enterprise Europe Network operating under PARP provides an opportunity for the entrepreneurs seeking foreign partners to publish their company profile in the Cooperation Offers’ Database accessible by approximately 600 network units in Europe and around the world. Moreover, Enterprise Europe Network offers comprehensive services covering information, training and counselling measures mainly in the field of European Union law and policies, business activity in Poland and abroad, access to sources of financing, internationalisation of enterprises, transfer of technologies and participation in EU framework programmes.
Greater Geneva Berne area
The Greater Geneva Bern area (GGBa) is the official investment promotion agency for Western Switzerland. Its mission is to support foreign-based companies in establishing their business in the region as smoothly and as quickly as possible. With a wealth of local knowledge and experience, the GGBa provides tailor-made assistance throughout every stage of the process, from evaluating potential locations to finalizing all the minute details. This support is provided at no charge and on a confidential basis. Since its creation in 2010, the GGBa has successfully advised and assisted over 350 investors who have found that Western Switzerland offers the best conditions for the development of their businesses. The GGBa is active on the Polish market with the goal of identifying companies with high-value-added business projects for which Switzerland would offer a favorable operating environment.
Switzerland Global Enterprise
Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) based in Zurich is the official Trade and Investment Promotion Organization of Switzerland. The Swiss Business Hub Poland represents Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) on the Polish market. We offer our services to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from Switzerland and Liechtenstein to help them launch and develop their business relations in Poland. Based at the Swiss Embassy in Warsaw, the Swiss Business Hub Poland benefits from a widespread network of contacts and the know-how of experts. The SMEs can therefore enjoy direct access to major players in the commercial, social, political, scientific and cultural fields.
The Swiss Business Hub Poland is also the first point of contact for local companies interested in investments in Switzerland. We will inform you about the advantages of Switzerland as a business location and can offer you information about Swiss economic and business structure. Furthermore we can support you in establishing direct contacts to relevant institutions, organisations and experts in Switzerland.
Franke
For over 100 years Franke is synonymous of quality and innovation in the design and production of kitchen systems, sanitary and catering facilities. The company is an ambassador for Swiss quality and precision that distinguishes produced by the company- sinks and faucets, but also cooker hoods, ovens, dishwashers, microwaves, refrigerators, and sorting of waste. Franke, with headquarters in Aarburg, employs 9 000 employees around the world, has 72 offices in more than 37 countries. In Poland, the company has been operating since 1993, has its own manufacturing facility in Nowy Sękocin near Warsaw and has significant share in the domestic market of sinks.
Jura
Since 1931 Swiss brand JURA has developed innovative and exclusive domestic appliances for home use. As a leader of innovation in category of fully automatic coffee machines JURA is major player in that segment. Currently, the company uses its experience and know-how to create complex solution for both retail and professional equipment for offices and the catering sector.
VISIONAPARTMENTS
Founded in Switzerland in 1999, VISIONAPARTMENTS specialises in the rental of high-quality furnished homes known for their commitment to service and style at best city locations. The company developed from a start-up to Switzerland’s market leader in just a short time and is now consistently expanding both domestically and abroad. The company is divided into three brands: VISIONAPARTMENTS, under which it rents exclusive apartments in the bustling urban centres of Europe; VISIONVILLAS, offering luxurious residences for rent; and VISIONDESIGN, an online portal where users can order home furnishings and related accessories – including many of the company’s own creations.
Stadler Rail
Stadler has been building trains for over 75 years. The system provider of rail vehicle construction solutions is headquartered in Bussnang in Eastern Switzerland, and has a workforce of around 7000 based in various locations across Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Italy, Austria, the Netherlands, Belarus, Algeria, Australia and the United States. Stadler provides a comprehensive range of products in the commuter rail and railway segments: trams, tram trains, underground trains, regional and commuter rail trains, intercity trains and high-speed trains. In addition, Stadler manufactures main-line dual-mode locomotives, shunting locomotives and passenger carriages, including the most powerful diesel-electric locomotive in Europe. Stadler remains the world’s leading manufacturer in the rack-and-pinion rail vehicle industry.
Roche
Roche Polska delivers the latest drugs for patients to combat the disease, prolong their survival and improve their quality of life. We focus on oncology, metabolic, central nervous system, inflammatory and viral diseases. A Roche Application Development and Maintenance Delivery Centre operates in Poland as well, creating applications for the drug development process.
